UConn Women’s Basketball Team Wins 8th Championship

The UConn women’s basketball team defeated Louisville 93-60 to win their record-tying eighth national championship.  Freshman Breanna Stewart led the Huskies with 23 points and 9 rebounds and was named Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament.  John Altavilla of the Hartford Courant has the story.
