Thank You to Drexel University Sport Management Program

Yesterday I had the pleasure of presenting to a group of graduate students in the Sport Management Program at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Penn.  The topic was coaching contracts, one of my favorites.  We covered New England Patriots Football Club, Inc. v. University of Colorado, Northeastern University v. Brown, Marist v. James Madison University and numerous other situations involving coach contracts, from Lou Holtz to Al Golden to Bill O’Brien.

Dave O’Brien
Program Director

The presentation benefitted greatly from the presence of Dave O’Brien, Director of the Sport Management Program, who offered his perspectives as an attorney and former Division I Athletic Director.

My sincere thanks to Dave O’Brien, Drexel University and the students in the program for welcoming me to their class and for their outstanding insights and questions.
