National Sports Law Institute Conference to be held October 21

The National Sports Law Institute of Marquette University Law School will host its annual conference “Hot Topics in Sports Law and Business” on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The conference will feature panels discussing hot topics in collegiate, professional, and Olympic sports, and a discussion of current issues in gender equity law. 

Speakers include Mary K. Braza, Partner, Chair, Sports Industry Team, and Member, Management Committee, Foley & Lardner LLP; Joe D’Antonio, Jr., Esq., Senior Associate Commissioner (Compliance & Governance), Big East Conference; Greg Heller, Senior Vice President & General Counsel, Atlanta Braves; Jim McKeown, Partner, Chair, Antitrust Practice Group, Foley & Lardner LLP; Donald Remy, General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs, National Collegiate Athletic Association; and Travis Thompson Tygart, CEO, The United States Anti-Doping Agency, among many others.
