The Connecticut General Assembly is considering a bill requiring colleges and universities to more fully disclose the terms and conditions of scholarship offers made to high school athletes.  Kathleen Megan of the Hartford Courant has the story.  Check back with Connecticut Sports Law next week for analysis of this bill.

SI.com and the Sports Law Blog’s Michael McCann has posted an excellent video interview regarding the Super Bowl tickets lawsuitESPN.com’s Jemele Hill writes that this incident is the latest indication that the Super Bowl is not about the fans.

Federal prosecutors will seek five felony charges against former San Francisco Giants outfielder Barry Bonds, rather than the eleven charges they originally sought.  ESPN.com news services has the story.
