UConn-Notre Dame Series May Be Dead

TouchdownJesusDesmond Conner of the Hartford Courant has blogged that the UConn-Notre Dame series may not come to fruition.  Here’s Conner and his quote of UConn Athletic Director Jeff Hathaway:

Seems having Tennessee and now Michigan on the schedule can change things but has Hathaway completely changed his position on a series with ND?

“Who knows, it could be something where we play one a few years down the road, who knows but I can’t stress this to you enough that our goal is to bring the best teams we can to Rentchler Field.”

For those who hoped for a spirited Canines vs. Catholics series, UConn-Notre Dame might be a one-shot deal.  More to come as information becomes available.
