UNHThe State of College Football in New Haven

On Wednesday, August 5, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce will host Chalk Talk, a panel of New Haven’s collegiate football coaches at Hula Hank’s.  The panel features the University of New Haven’s Peter Rossomando, who will lead the return of UNH football; Southern Connecticut State University’s Rich Cavanaugh; and Yale’s new coach, Tom Williams.  For more information, including how to register, click here.

Plaxico Burress Indicted; Antonio Pierce Cleared

Former New York Giant Plaxico Burress was indicted by a grand jury on 2 gun charges and 2 charge of reckless endangerment.  His teammate, Antonio Pierce, was cleared of any wrongdoing.  For the details, see this piece by ESPN’s Lester Munson.

Judge Sotomayor and Sports
