The Seton Hall Law School Journal of Sports & Entertainment Law has assembled an impressive roster of panelists for its Symposium on November 7, 2008. The Symposium – entitled “From the Arena to the Streets – The Pressure Placed on Athletes, Entertainers and Management” will focus on three legal issues:
- Constructing and Operating Sport & Entertainment Facilities
- Health of Professional Athletes & Obligations to Perform
- Entertainers’ & Athletes’ Conduct Unrelated to their Employment
The keynote speaker is Jeff Vanderbeek, Chair and Managing Partner of the New Jersey Devils. Featured speakers include Andrew Lee, general counsel for the New York Jets; Leonard Marshall, former New York Giants player; and Fernando Pinguelo, a partner at the firm of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus.
The Symposium begins at 8:45 and will be held in Newark, New Jersey. Although there is a fee for attorneys seeking CLE credit, the Symposium is free of charge to all others. For additional information, click here.
