Penn_State_fieldPennsylvania Sues NCAA over Penn State Sanctions

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett has filed suit against the NCAA over the sanctions imposed upon Penn State and its football program.  Michael McCann of SI.com provides an excellent analysis of the suit and Tim Epstein offers some interesting observations on the Sports Law Blog.

Fired College Football Coaches Net $31 Million

Kristi Dosh of ESPN.com takes a look at the money that universities spent to buyout the contracts of their football coaches.  The highest buyout, according to Dosh: $7,500,000, paid to former Auburn coach Gene Chizik.
