Manhattan DA: Burress Will Serve Jail Time
Plaxico Burress, the former New York Giants receiver will serve jail time, whether he goes to trial or submits a plea, in connection with charges for criminal possession of a gun, according to the Associated Press. ESPN’s Mike and Mike reported that Burress’ trial will not commence until February, thus Burress will be available to play in the NFL this season. Lawsuit Filed in Connecticut Sailboat Tragedy
Westportnow.com reports that the father of a 3 year-old who drowned last summer in a sailing accident, has filed suit against Longshore Sailing School. The School’s defense, in part, relies upon a waiver signed by the child’s aunt. Stay tuned for more analysis of this lawsuit.
