UConn has released its 2009 football schedule with an unexpected and welcome surprise: all home games will be played on Saturdays. In years past UConn has played games at Rentschler Field on Thursday and Friday nights, as well as Saturdays, to take advantage of opportunities to play on national television. Here is the Huskies’ 2009 schedule:
