I think Hartford should have at least one Professional sports team. The government is looking for ways to get money with out raising taxes what better way then a Proffesional sports team. Since The Uconn fan base is building up this would the perfect time for the UFL to put one of their teams in connecticut. Some people say look what happened to the whalers, part of the problem was the owner wanted to move his team. The other part is Hockey is not a very popular sport and this is coming from a former Whalers fan. I think a football team would have more succes. It does need more adverising though in the beging of March 2009 was the first I've heard of the UFL and it was suppost to start in 2008. As for the UFL, Connecticut would be a better choice then New York because then people from Massachussets and Rhode Island, and if the Team was labled A New England Team the fan base would become even be bigger.
